Manage Credentials

The Manage Credentials Screen shows all current credentials that are stored for use by the Connector. This screen can only be accessed and actions can only be performed by the Admin Role.


Credentials are used to authenticate with the external systems that the Connector uses (Data Historian, Database, etc.). 

The screen also allows for the deletion and upload of Credentials. 

If the Authentication Credentials for any external system changes, then it may be required to upload a new set.

Deleting Credentials

To delete a Credential, click on the trash icon in the right-hand column of the one you wish to delete. You will be prompted to confirm before proceeding.


Uploading Credentials

To upload an updated set of Credentials, click on the upload credentials button underneath the credentials table. You will then be prompted to locate the Credentials file you wish to upload.


If the Credentials are encrypted, a red exclamation mark will appear in the Status column of the Credentials once they have been uploaded. To decrypt the Credentials, click on the exclamation mark and you will be prompted to enter the encryption key. If the key is correct, a popup message will appear with confirmation and the status will change to a green tick.
