Bad Formula Error

The "Bad Formula Error" usually occurs when you have different references to validation lists. Data validation is only supported if it is done against a Defined Name Range rather than against the range (i.e. $B$1:$B$5). If it is done as part of a Defined Named Range it will also mean that the worksheet that contains the Data Validation data doesn't need to be part of the Import Merge mappings.
