'No Access' screen in EnergySys


When user are created in EnergySys they are first configured in the IdP before roles are assigned to them. If a user attempts to access EnergySys before their role access is configured they will receive the No Access page.

 


The No Access page can become cached in the user's browser such that if they do try to login after roles have been assigned they will continue to receive the No Access screen.


To remove the No Access screen a couple of options are available and the least intrusive of these is to completely exit the browser. In Windows with the Browser Window selected press Alt +F4 (this will close all tabs in the browser) or Exit from the Settings menu. On Mac it is Cmd + Q or select 'Quit Google Chrome' from the 'Chrome' menu. 


Alternative methods can be used to clear cookies specific to EnergySys or to wait 8 hours from logon so that the session has expired.
